  • When do you offer tours?

Tours are offered by appointment only.  Click here to book your tour.  

 

  •  How many guests can Grant Hill Farms accommodate?

Our packages are based on up to 200 guests. We can accommodate up to 300 guests for an indoor/outdoor reception. Renting additional chairs for ceremony will be necessary with more than 225 guests in attendance.

  • Will I need to hire a wedding planner in addition to having the coordinator you provide in the package?

No!  While we do not offer "full" wedding planning service, our wedding coordination program is comprehensive and offers much more than just day-of coordination services.  Our coordination is a unique blend of full-service planning and day of coordination.  The only things we really do not cover are budget management, overall décor design, and vendor contract negotiations.

  •  How much is the deposit, when is it due, and is it refundable?

A $1,000.00 nonrefundable deposit is required to firmly hold your date.  50% of the remaining balance is due halfway between the time of booking and the wedding date.  The remainder is due 3 months prior to your wedding date.  Should you choose to cancel your wedding date, anything paid up to the time of cancelation is nonrefundable. â€‹

  • Do you offer a military discount? 

YES!  We offer a 10% active duty military discount.  The 10% is taken off of the venue pricing.  Thank you for your service! â€‹

  • What forms of payment do you accept?​​

Our listed pricing reflects a 3% cash or check discount.  We do accept most major crefit cards; however, the 3% discount would be added back to your payment.  We also accept Zelle payments.

  • Are we required to use certain vendors at Grant Hill Farms?

You may bring in any outside vendors of your choice with no penalty fee, however, we do have a lengthy list of amazing preferred vendors in each category.

  •  Is there an insurance policy we must purchase?

Yes.  Purchasing a day of event insurance policy is necessary for all events.  We work with a wonderful company called Nuptial who has made this process a breeze.  Once you book, we will set you up with them.  Cost is around $220.00.

  • Can the venue accommodate a band or DJ?

We can accommodate both a band or a DJ.  While we can provide tables, linens, and power, the DJ or band is responsible for bringing on their own sound equipment.

  • Are real candles permitted?

Yes!  Open flame candles are permitted if they are in something to collect the wax.  No taper candles please.

  • Do you allow fireworks?

Fireworks are NOT permitted.  Sparklers are fine.

​

  • Are there areas for the bride and groom to change/get ready in?

Yes!  There is a bridal suite as well as a groom's room for them to get ready in. 

 

  • How many hours does our rental agreement include?

Access the morning of your wedding depends on what time hair and makeup atrist will need to begin (your coordinator will work with photographer, hair, and makeup vendors to help determine this tim).  Reception must end by 11:00 pm.​

  • Do you have an inclement weather plan?

Yes!  We have two outdoor ceremony locations.  One is in an open field.  The other is under a 4,000 sq ft covered pavilion.  We can also accommodate an indoor ceremony.

  • Is the reception space climate controlled?

Yes!  We do have both heat and air conditioning.

​

  • When will my rehearsal be held?

Your one-hour rehearsal will be held the week of your wedding.  The date and time of rehearsal will be based upon Grant Hill Farms schedule.  Your time will be scheduled firmly 3 months prior to your wedding day.​
